FC6 report.
12 hours play. Absolutely nothing new game-play wise and after the intro there is a hardly a whisper of the oppressor. I've mentioned Just Cause but I'm also thinking a little Ghost Recon as well.
It's not bad but I was, perhaps foolishly, expecting more.

3 hours into FC6 and I gotta say is a little different than 5. Level up wise. Weapon system and what not. Find it a little confusing. Gotta say the spanglish does get a little annoying. Almost insulting?
The crocodile companion is fuckng useless.
Given the place where I am, fictional Cuba, weapon mods are kind of annoying, but I guess it goes with the whole exploring for better parts and taking scenario as a consideration .
NPCs give you clues for supply drops but the game is confusing as to how to track the location, you have to manually try to figure out on your map where they we’re talking about. I feel FC5 was a little better in that sense. Im also at the very beginning so maybe I need to reach the main land which is HUGE.
Maybe I’m missing a section for abilities? Leveling up just grants you weapons, and skills depend on what you wear, which is very MMO in a sense.

Did I mention the whole spanglish thing? I did, feels like a bad joke really. Almost stereotypical.

I absolutely loved FC5 from the get go, the message at the very beginning “Sometimes the best solution is to not do anything” thing.

I need to play a little more and really give it a chance, so far is sort of meh, but with a beautiful landscape and fast as hell classic vehicles.

I thought i was going to shoot myself when Bella Ciao! started playing non stop on one mission, you’ll see.

12 hours in and made it to the mainland.
Got it on Ubisoft plus for the $15 sub like I did last year for AC.

Solid 7/10 at $15.
Less than a 5 is I had paid full price.
Same old Ubisoft open world game.
Almost tempted to just turn on story mode so I can finish it faster.

Main character is hell bent on leaving then just decides not to for some odd ass reason.
Wish there was an option to just leave like you've been saying the whole beginning of the game for an Easter egg like in FC4.

This is why I didn’t play FarCry5. I didn’t want to listen to hillbilly for a hundred hours. It all falls under “immersion” I suppose.

FC6 looks super fun so far though. I’m onboard. FC2, FC3, and FC4 were some of my favorite games ever. I like that open-world/soldier of fortune/exotic locations genre.

You can lol. After you clear the first island, head to the pier and get on the boat. You get the secret ending.

FC5 was a little more friendly weapon and abilities wise. This game pushes you to explore and get pieces of equipment/weapons that you won’t get from purchasing at your local vendor. I just absolutely hate the first mods, looks like a Fallout 4 pipe gun mods.
Story is good, haven’t made it to the mainland because I’m exploring as much as I can.
