The critical thing is we are talking 0-60mph rather than 0-100km/h. Small difference but on these cars due to gearing a change into third is need to hit 100km/h wheres a 0-60 time can be done with 1 gear change and revving out 2nd.

Only 5% of the world uses mph. This thread could do with a lot less offtopic Aussie rambling though he says ironically.

Is that geographically ?? or 5% of population? 5% of cars use mph as the speed indicator? ...

Throttle response remains like factory. Theres litterally no lag w/ the GT28RS. Its a very responsive turbo and will make enough HP for the good majority of users.

Intercooler piping length has little affect on turbo lag.

Thats why the next option up w/ bill the GTX3076R for the next power hungry group!

That sounds suspect to me. As long as you have to wait for the exhaust gas to spool the turbine and then wait for the compressor to fill the piping and IC there will be some lag.

You have obviously never driven a car with a disco potato have you? lol. It's literally the most responsive turbo I've ever used. On 12.5:1 comp, I'm sure the throttle response is stupid quick. I've only used the gt28rs on 8.5:1 and even then it was amazingly responsive. Boost onset on the sr20det was around 3800, but after that point there was instant boost response.

The GT28RS is like a light switch. Its the reason i've chosen this particular turbo. Its a nice fit for the majority of persons who want a nice response rate and a linear power band.

When does full boost occur?

No lose to the throtle response sounds awesome me I was expecting there it be a little throttle reponse lost with a turbo.

Why? You haven't changed the compression, as far as the engine is concerned its an NA engine PLUS boost.
