Huh. My car has the rubber grommets underneath my car but not in my trunk above the struts. Looks like I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.

Looking at the plug for above the strut. Wonder if dealers will argue about it. And not install it

+1. This is a confusing thread. What I don't understand is why do we need a plug for the struct top hole if its inside the trunk? How does water get in there? Did anybody picked up their car with that plug already in place?

My car and others I spoke with didn't come with plugs in the trunk. But if water does indeed seep in there, why would you want to plug it up so the water can't evaporate? That would cause more problem I would think.

Honda odyssey has it. My 2006 has the exact looking oblong plugs in the glove box that was installed long after the PDI when I ask the dealer what they are for.

Just picked my car up on Monday. Looks like the dealer did install the tow hook grommets/plugs, but I do have the circular holes above the strut tops. I'll swing by the dealer tomorrow and see about that plug listed in this thread.

I read through the entire thread and I'm still confused... Just for confirmation, There are 4 holes that should be plugged in, right? 2 that can be found by taking out the interior of the trunk, and 2 that can be found by looking above the rear wheels of the car?
Just want to make sure so I know what to go my dealership about. |

2 holes in trunk above the rear struts (1 each side) and 2 underneath the car in front of the rear wheels (1 each side).

Like others have said, this is one confusing thread. Regarding the 2 holes in the trunk above the rear struts, is there even a plug made for them? Did ANYBODY picked up their cars with these plugs already in their car? Thanks.
