You do know that CNET has been owned by CBS/Viacom for about 4 years now? Guess its there way of broadening they're reach per their parent company/owner.

So let me rephrase this.

WTF is CBS and VIACOM doing reviewing sports cars and why do we care!?

(rhetorical)

Really? Well if I could afford to track an M3 with it's uber expensive replacement tires and brakes, I don't think I would be cross-shopping this car...

***Not too mention the M3 is much heavier (albeit much more powerful) and offers a different driving experience altogether.

Besides, the M3 is what 60-65K...yeah, it should be better for that cost...
I actually came from a E92 M3 and this car is not as comfortable (magnetic ride is a thing of beauty not to mention the extended Novillo leather) but it handles every bit as well if not a tad bit better on stability. That being said my M3 cost 75,000 bucks new... I think just the mods I put on the car equaled the over all price of this car. Not fair to compare the two.

i dont think that comment was to compare them but just to remind people that the frs isnt a supercar. you are still going to fantasize about whatever cars you had posters of on your wall as a kid. with all this frs vs porsche or z kind of thing going on, i think its important to remind people that

I'm guessing the reviewer did not drive the 6AT, in which case he had no place commenting on it. There's a special place for folks like that as well.

yea, I haven't found that one yet either.

He had some complaints I agree with (the speedo, some road noise, for example). Can't believe he recommended the BeSpoke though.

Someone really needs to sit him down, make him listen to his presentation style a few times so he comes to realize his Columbia School of Broadcasting Morning Rock DJ voice needs to be toned down a little. Just saying....

Owners of an M3 will be disappointed when they hit the track and wish they bought a Ferrari instead. :p

3x FRS = 1 M3
3x M3 = 1 California

In the video, he says "The clutch effort and take-up is just about perfect... it's about as good as that in a 911."

Is this true? For the few out there who's had the opportunity to drive a stock 911, I'd be interested on their take with this comparison. I've heard alot of people complain that the clutch felt too "soft"? Personally, that's how I like my clutch feel, but I guess everyone's preference is different.

Yeah, I'd like to hear what other people have to say if they've ever driven a 911 for a long time.
I personally hate the clutch and had to readjust the clutch positioning .. and too soft/light :/
