The top half of his face (above the nose) looks like Mr. Bean, and the bottom half looks like McLovin.

By the way - I'm the guy from Reddit that test drove your car, fancy seeing you here
I wasn't even aware of that until I read a post on this forum yesterday. For now I'll keep an eye out for cops and roll down the windows if I see one around....Perhaps it will come off with the the first ticket/warning. I'm not a "fast and furious" type driver....I don't even have a single speeding ticket.

Maybe we'll be able to find every person for the 69 miles that were on the car. I have faith (Read: Delusions) that the car wasn't thrashed too terribly during the test drives because it's a manual which excludes most sub 30 year olds. They probably ran over to the Scion dealership for that.

Yea it doesn't look like a terrible amount of damage, but modern car body parts and panels are surprisingly good at hiding damage these days...

Heres hoping you just need a new bumper and trunk! Looks like bits of your rear quarter panel near the taillights will need to be banged back into shape though :/...
Correct. It was already on the car as an add on. The most expensive sticker I'll ever own.

OP is very fortunate indeed that the car damage is all they'll have to deal with as those can be fixed - be sure to claim the diminished value as there should be no issue or contest against it.

As for age... people don't learn until it happens firsthand. I've been involved in 2 accidents myself, neither my fault, and both drivers were over 35. It boils down to insurance. If every driver knew that if they are at fault that they were going to pay X over X number of months then perhaps they wouldn't risk having their attention diverted to electronics or other distractions...

Being that the kid had been involved in another accident just prior to this I REALLY hope he ends up on a moped to punish his chronic habit of not paying attention to the road. He can go ride along with the DWI crowd and perhaps that'll teach him...

Only 69? That's nothing - I was so enamored with driving the car that I didn't even glance at the mileage when I took it for a spin.

You got them to knock some cold cash off the MSRP for 69 miles, you did good.

In any event, I'm pretty sure they try to keep a sales associate with you on the test drive whenever possible. I had my family with me and we wanted to make sure we could all fit in it during a test drive, so they trusted me to take it out without them. Of course, I was probably a bit more older and conservative than their usual crowd, that helps.

Any ETA on the body panels that need to be replaced? I imagine they don't really stock those locally yet.

They have to be shipped in. I get the official ETA tomorrow.
