14mm top caliper slide pin is blocked by brake hose

Socket can't fit.
So, I used a 14mm flex head wrench.
What tool do you prefer to use to remove that top nut?

Bubba says whatever you can get in there and it fits the nut.

I remember, back in the day, I couldn't find a wrench that would access the adjusting nut on the side draft carbs of my 1970 MGB-GT.

So, I cut a wrench in half and it worked just fine.

as a professional wrench, I see this shit each and every day. I am honestly not sure how these types of things get thru all the levels of authority they do before they are allowed to be built.

Just find whatever you can fit in there. Sometimes its a specialty tool, but other times its just swear a lot and figure it out.

So annoying when you are paid flat rate and something that normally takes 3-5 seconds takes 15 min.

I've got a couple of ratchets and I have to use the one with a smaller head, but I've never had a problem putting a socket on the that bolt.

Looks like a regular socket fits just fine.

Maybe the brake line can be clocked differently ?
