Long Beach police department ended up busting them but was only able to recover a few of my parts. (2 wheels, and half my cage). Insurance sucked too, they gave me a fair price on the market value of my car but only covered about 25% of the mods which was over $20k in mods.

I guess it is better than nothing though since a lot of people i've heard that had their car stolen were not reimbursed anything for their aftermarket parts.

now time for an s2k ...

damnn dude thats fucked up ...i dont live too far from LB either. im from Downey, idk if uve passed through...that makes me feel like i should have one of those red things on my steering wheel from now on. thats fucked up....so far i know of two ppl who got car jacked, and when it was found, the owners had to pay hundreds of dollars just to get it out of the impound lot ....but either way, thats still a good thing u got somewhat reimbursed for the mods.. so what have u been driving this whole time?

yea theyre just a bunch of little punks... they stole a bunch of cars and i was thinking of hiring a lawyer for restitution but its such a hassle and i dont know if i would be able to recover much from them since i also have to consider the depreciation of the car parts.

I'm driving a 98 Prelude, and will keep doing so until I kill it. At this rate, I think I'll have to hand the keys over to my future, unborn kid lol, the thing is just as strong as when I got it 4 years ago, still very fast, still very fun. I want to buy an S2000 for those top down days here in Florida, and treat myself to a new subieyota when it comes out. I'll probably hold off on the S2000 for a while, since I'm starting the house buying process right now, and being only 24 with no hand me downs, I barely have a built up bank account (damn student loans...)

This is my current car (old pic), which I'm finally going to have the excuse to go all out and finish off tuning it (power/drivetrain is done, now for a crazy suspension) for infield/circuit/road rally track use when/if I get the FR-S or Subie.

Here's my last Toyota. 2000 GT-S, yeah, I was younger and into a different scene then, thus the House of Kolors Kandy apple red paintjob and stuff lol.

Love the Evo. LOL! You can definitely see the maturation process in car/driver style from your old car to the new!

Thanks, yeah they "grew up", but it's to each their own. I was looking at a new X, but after driving it, sitting in it, it just didn't do it for me. Lost that "go-kart" feel to it, but it still handled well while a more "detached" feeling really lost me. Can definitely feel the weight in it too unfortunately. So, I left the WW X at the dealer, I'm sure it'll find a good home though, still a great car. Interior was superior to mine, outside of the seats, wheel, and shifter... all critical pieces to me though. Such a mixed bag of feelings of the X, not a big enough upgrade to me. I hope Mitsu doesn't neuter the XI.
