Yeah, that's one thing I like about this generation is from the exterior the Premium looks almost identical to the Limited. I never liked the look of the last gen without the spoiler.

I will say however, I didn't see the STI wheels on the accessory list, not sure if those are JDM only or if those are coming later.

no real reason to pay the extra for the premium trim for this second gen IMO.

with the first gen, if you wanted the nicer hvac, you needed to get the premium. it looks like this new gen, the hvac controls are same for premium and non-premium trims.

I dunno, I feel like Limited trim is better now that it has been before. Different wheels and tires and an upgraded sound system should make it sell pretty well.

to each their own. limited spec wheels/tires will be sold for $400 in the used market once these cars are sold to the public. subaru has never been known to provide quality factory sound system. i don't expect the brz limited trim to be good either.

I think the better reason to choose one over the other is: Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Keep Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert; Steering Responsive Headlights.

Trying to swap those out will be over $2500. For those who don't want it, the premium is a great option.

The Harmon Kardon systems are fantastic. Right now the limited trim has "upgraded" stereo and they don't mention HK, so who knows if that'll be the case, but all in all I will guess that Limited 6MT will still be the best seller out of the 4 options.

Lane-keep assist will only be on the AT's, but I agree that these will all be expensive swaps. I think it just depends on where people have priorities.

That must be a misprint from the press release page, and it should read lane change asssist.

Why would they wait that long for it?

You add options like that when sales dip after the first few years. Sports cars aren’t consistent sellers, you have to keep the customers interested somehow.

Has anyone posted the full list of options/accessories? If you did already, I missed it.

There are 2 port installed option packages. The local dealer wouldn't let me take photos of the print out. One of the packages(pop. package 1) includes the vortex generator and graphics kit.

I can list out pop. package 2 when I get home, because that's what I chose.
