Camber bolts and stock suspension rub
I've looked all over and I am finding some conflicting info.
Would a 245/40/17 on 17x8.5 +33 with -2.5 camber using camber bolts up front cause rubbing issues on the spring perch? (Stock struts with Eibach Sportlines) I'm seeing some reports of 17x9 +35 with -2.5 fitting, some saying its practically close enough to be rubbing. If anyone is running either of these set ups please chime in on the firment! Last edited by Cubix; 07-23-2021 at 09:05 PM. |

My track set is 17x9 +40 and I got some 3 mm spacers (so +37?). Without the spacers they would touch. I have -3.2* camber but that's with maxed out camber plates on the stock struts and then camber bolts top & bottom. I would expect 17x8.5 +33 to be ok.
Used to be that wheelitfit.com was the place to go and check (for free), now it looks like you need to pay $3 for access to anything but a Lada. |

I don’t think you’ll get -2.5 with bolts.

I think people get that or close with 14mm bottom with OEM crash bolts top. |

YMMV, but my shop was able to get me -2.2 in the front with SPC camber bolts in the lower hole and moving the stock bolts to the upper hole. Stock PP suspension otherwise.

I got -2.0 on one side and -2.2 on the other with SPC bolts on both holes - 16mm top and 14mm bottom.

Just get plates. You’ll have a lot more options and it’s a lot easier to dial things in
