And as to relying on your statements, well your track record on this site isn't that great. We get the website saying 'overseas' and you saying 'in house'. So in between would be a reworked overseas part. I think I'm doing a pretty good job listening, how about you? How did you miss the flywheel checking suggestion I made early on?

Is the delta the same regardless of which gear is used? In other words, does a gain of 26whp in 3rd = 26whp in 4th = 26whp in 5th?

Every shop took Subaru parts and looked at this car. You have to start some place. But I am sure you know how to fab up stuff right? If you knew anything you would know that none of that stuff fits. Hell a lot of vendors here sell the rear suspension bits off wrx. Don't see you calling them out. Also I said it and one more time. These are NOT made overseas. These are being made in house in Arizona. So the whole overseas point is dead. You assume way to much. I have brought FACT to this thread. You have only added assumptions and second hand info at best. Over and Over again. Time for the Troll to move on. Last edited by vividracing; 07-28-2012 at 07:57 PM. |

So add that in and we are going to see more gains again. Just like others in this thread have already spoken about. |

Power is a function of force, distance, and time. We can rearrange this to be force and velocity as velocity is a function of distance and time. Because of this you coulddyno in any gear and the only reason there would be any difference I numbers would be due to the greater angular acceleration of the drive train in lower gears, resulting in lower whp numbers. I can go into detail if you wish but its basic physics and probably not necessary. |

Agency power, keep up the good work, half of the guys giving you crap dont even own an frs or brz, they just sit in their moms basement and go on forums to feel better about themselves.
Would i be able to purchase the header and midpipe and bolt them to my stock axleback? Im assuming i would need a small reducer flange....

Do you have a weight of the catback versus the stock one? Just figured I'd ask.

As for the 1:1 gear ratio debate it depends on the dyno being used and how it calculates horsepower. Some dynos may not take into account the gear ratio being used and calculate power based on the speed of the rollers and the mass of the vehicle only. Obviously at this point a lower gear gives a higher mechanical advantage.
I don't think the Mustang works quite that way and the gear selection has less of an outcome on the horsepower/torque numbers. Either way it was all done in a consistent manner and saw very good gains when you look at the percentages. |
