Second shot appointment this afternoon. Moderna this time, had Pfizer for 1st.
If I had called pharmacies directly first, it could have been a week earlier.

Why would a healthy person or a young healthy person take a experimental shot when you have a better than 99% survival rate against the Covid Flu ? The shot is not FDA approved and the manufacturer's are not liable if adverse effects happen down the road as a result. If the vaccine is to protect the person taking it why so much concern for all the people who do not want to take it ? Read slowly the part about no liability.

Hey, once we reach critical vaccinated percentages of population, nobody will give a shit if you don't get vaccinated, man. I hope you prefer getting no attention from now on.

Because enough healthy, young people have had severe effects to warrant it. You have a 99% chance of survival of being rear ended. Doesn't mean it won't fuck you up.

Also I guarantee you've consumed plenty of things that aren't FDA approved.

The vaccine is not just to protect the recipient. No vaccine ever is. It's to protect everyone, including the vaccinated. If you can't get it you can't spread it. The arithmetic is pretty simple,

Edit: it's funny. During the Revolutionary War smallpox very well may have cost Washington's army the Battle of Quebec City. Crude inoculations were available, but quite risky (2% fatality rate from inoculation alone). Nevertheless, many soldiers self inoculated against Washington's orders and the commanding general of the northern army may have made it mandatory.

Once herd immunity is reached, there is far less motivation to urge you to become vaccinated. Do you understand the reasoning now? You were being encouraged to become vaccinated so we can all reach herd immunity to protect the people who are vulnerable and return life to some type of normalcy despite all the unexpected fatalities. The 5G thing is just a gift from Huawei. lol

If you didn't appreciate the pressure or attention you or somebody opposed to vaccination might have received it should no longer be an issue now or very shortly since enough other people have gone and done it. It's good for you as well.

Sensitive much ? I would be to if I had taken a unproven new non FDA approved chemical.
What about people dying from smoking ? texting and driving ? Nightly shootings in almost all big cities. Why not some focus on saving those lives ? While I believe the vaccines are probably safe and and good choice for the correct demographic ( elderly, obese, pre existing conditions ) I see no reason to gamble on they got it 100% right when I have a 99%+ chance of survival but again to each his own. take it twice if you like.
