I ordered a w5w(t10) socket holder and t10 led from superbright LEDs. As soon as I get them I'll you know what's up.

the more challenging part is getting the wires through the door loom (at the door hinge) for a clean install. I haven't looked at the car up close but probably not worth doing for just having lights in the doors, unless you park on a narrow street at night.

I'm pretty sure there's somewhere that can be tapped in the door itself for 12v. My gut would tell me the same wires that light up the window controls.

The problem with that is the light only turns on when you open the door. The window controls are always lit.

Perhaps you tap into the line that controls the window when you open and close the door, which runs to the switch on the door jamb. Seems its just an open/closed loop.

The BRZ limited has a separate door wiring harness than both the premium and fr-s.
I also found the part number for that.

There may be a way to repin/tap where the chassis harness connects to the door harness. Ive been working 12hr shifts so I have not been able to get anything done. =\

I have my FR-S door panel off right now. FTEIGHTSIX can you post a pic out the bulb you got with the subaru part number. I have same LED laying around that I was going to tap up and add a reflector behind but it won't be the stock install I'd like to do. However it would work nicely.
