Tuned Flex Fuel Codes

So I tried reading around a little and haven't found anything quite like my problem.

I posted not too long ago about getting a Xero-Limit flex fuel kit. Installed it, popped the tune on and the car drove perfect. About 60 miles in, 4 codes came up with the rear O2 sensor which I was told on here was likely related to the tuner missing getting rid of that. Made sense, of course, since the previous O2 sensor was zip-tied to the side and no longer plugged in.

Sent my tuner an email, got a new tune to get that fixed and I was back in business. Again, car drove perfectly, no different than before. At this point I had been running E60-E70 for some time with no issues and the power was awesome. About 100 miles in, and I got 2 lights - check engine and traction light. Codes:

Engine DTC: P0171
Traction DTC: C1201

Again, car kept driving perfectly fine as these codes kicked in on my way home from work. Ethanol content seems to be reading fine. Checked under the hood for any connection issues or anything that could have gotten messed up and I did not see anything that looked any different than before. No leaks.

Current mods:
ACE header, cat-back exhaust, drop-in filter, flex-fuel, and Ecutek tune.

Had previous tunes before I got the flex-fuel kit and never had any issues. Still don't, but the codes definitely confuse and annoy me. Any clue to what may be the issue here? Sent another email to my tuner. Anyone think the tune still has some little piece missing?

I've attached a log that I took coming home from work after the codes came up. Which brings up another side problem that I'm not really sure of. Many of my parameters aren't showing up properly, or rather just display a 0? My display gauges on Ecutek Connect are not displaying either, or have a malfunctioning number. Not sure what the deal is there - that seems to be an app issue maybe? Because I never had this problem with logs in the past.

EDIT: Tuner has responded and said the parameters that he CAN see all look good and normal. Which makes sense as the car is running fine. So this could be a different issue? He mentioned to look over my ground connection (which ties in to the ECA per instruction - "2017+ Rear O2 Kits: The factory plug does not supply an adequate ground and you must use the auxiliary ground lead. Find the length of black wire provided with the eye connector. Use the supplied M6x1 bolt and connect to the open threaded hole on the driver’s side injector cover. Run the black ground lead to the harness that runs to the O2 sensor connector and splice in the black ground lead to the black ground wire going to the ECA side (not the engine side!))", which I will do. But this was clamped nice and hard and I placed electrical tape around it to keep it safe and secure as well. In addition to that, the flex-fuel content analyzer was not working when the ground was not on, but it has been working fine since, so I have a feeling the ground is not the issue.

So I am not exactly familiar with how I go about updating Racerom. I tried googling into it and can't find anything on it on Ecutek. I did, on the other hand, attempt to update everything I could. Under EcuTek update, I updated software, ROM library, and drivers. Since then, I have re-flashed the tune and driven about 180-190 miles and no lights have come on yet. But, I have been watching the DTC log on the app, and P0171 is still showing up on there, but no more traction code so far.

to update racerom you need to strip the old racerom off tune then add the updated racerom patch and then reconfigure

if its locked tune from tuner they eill need to do it

even if its unlocked you need racerom extension on your ecutek kit

Got it. It's up to the tuner then I believe in my case, as he provided me with the tune with Racerom and I do not own it as an extension. I did bring what you said up to him earlier. He seems to be aware of the bugs and said they are mostly related to other features that I'm not using. So I'll be checking the continuity of my O2 connector to make sure all is working well when I get back from vacation after the weekend. I will report back when I get some more info.

Currently, I'm over 300 miles driven since updating everything and re-flashing the tune. Still no engine light or any other lights showing up, but P0171 is still showing as a DTC on the Ecutek app, so it is still there I guess.

Also, any comment to make on my issue with not all parameters reading on Ecutek app? Still don't understand that. I would think that's an app update issue or something and it would be widespread and I would have heard something about it by now. But I have looked it up in different ways and found absolutely nothing on it. Makes no sense why some parameters read just fine and others don't. You can see in the log it just shows a bunch of 0's for half the stuff that should be showing values.

Have your parameters showed back up in the app?

So this might be all coincidental, but I had almost this same issue a couple weeks ago. I started my car and hit the connect on the app and I got the warning codes of P0111 and C1201 and it wouldn't show me a lot of the parameters. I don't remember exactly if I got the dash lights first or if it was after the Ecutek tried to connect that they showed up.
I'm pretty sure that once I'd turned the car off and then back on and connected that my Ecutek started showing everything again, but I'm getting old and my memory is foggy.

Was away for a bit, I will take a look today and see if any of that was resolved. But every time I ran my car for the last few weeks, this parameters not showing issue has been a thing.

So I tried re-installing the app as well to see if anything changes in terms of parameters not showing and the problem still remains. On the other hand, I've driven about 500-600 miles at this point and no codes or lights have come on, but Ecutek app still reads a P0171 DTC. Going to use a voltmeter on the white wire of the O2 sensor to make sure all is well, and I might go under to double check if any exhaust leaks have developed randomly at the same time as I had changed to flex-fuel. Slowly running out of ideas.

Update: Checked the O2, but not the exhaust leak as I haven't had time to get under the car, and everything seems fine. After about 700-800 miles, the lights decided to come on again, and I had a new code added to my list.

P0171
C1201
C1241 - new

Did some googling and found VERY FEW things on C1201 and C1241 coming on together. A few Toyotas come up with no real resolution besides a battery change, and one twin came up from a couple years back that maybe resolved it with some downpipe bolts tightened? It's mostly unclear and seems like an extremely rare set of codes for anyone to get.

Since C1241 relates to battery voltage, I went to test the battery and it tested better than its rating, so that takes that out of the picture. I also disconnected and reconnected the battery to reset everything. The moment I turned the car on and tested for codes, C1201 and C1241 were already up. I've driven 60 miles since and P0171 has not returned... yet. Tuner is waiting to see if I can find any resolution to this as he fears a Racerom update could bring other problems to the table. He stated that the version he is using has been problem free for everyone.

Car has still continued to drive perfectly with no issues ever since all this began.
