Weren't head gaskets less of a problem on the turbo engines? Also h6s, but that goes way back unless you want a Tribeca.

I just did a basic search on local CL, and hatches (even just WRX, not STI) easily average $25k. That's too crazy. At that point may as well get a newer WRX sedan.

Don't bother with WRX. You'll have to swap engine AND trans. WRX 5sp tran is glass trans. STI 6sp is a bit more bullet proof

Little rough around the edges, as advertised and as expected, but will make a great little winter rig and a fun summer project. Original owner had the 1.5" OME soft spring lift kit installed with 5x new wheels and tires and new brakes just before he listed it. Even threw in a full synthetic oil change yesterday as he knew I had a nearly 500 mile day of driving. It is the opposite of quick and/or fast but didn't give me any grief on its maiden voyage.

They will legit kill you for this in PR. That's like the best the little SUVs are like a cult thing on the island. One of those and a Panama hat is classier than a tuxedo and luxury car down there.

iOs 14.5 suppose to allow you to unlock with iwatch, if you're wearing a mask. It doesn't not work often. It was working then all the suddenly doesn't work. It's on & off, every damn day.

Yeah occasionally it "breaks", they released iOS 14.6 today and that supposedly fixes that problem.

Otherwise it's worked super well for me.

Aw man, I was kind of looking forward to indulging my automotive masochism by buying a beater Subaru Outback with not everything working, but I called up State Farm and they want an extra 50 a month to insure it...

I was kind of hoping that the Aston Martin would get a substantial discount if I had a second car, but I guess not. I think I'll just rent a car for short stints when I need it in Reno, it'll cost less than trying to own a beater year round.

One less old car to waste time modifying lol.

I would love more than anything to throw the keys and say have fun, but there is a big problem.

One is, I've seen you in my car (tcoat has the evidence). I don't think I'm the first person to ever tell you this, but you don't fit. You are a giant person. In my car you were sitting on the seat bolsters, knees in the steering wheel, and you could press all three pedals with one foot. You don't fit.

I already replaced the stock radiator.
