About three weeks ago SoA said "August" and then a week later received an email from them saying "September". Called SoA yesterday and they said "August" again. Since "August" is about here and they have no VIN or firm date yet...I suppose I will have to remain...patient.

Just got an email from SOA. Car is expected to be at the dealership the last week of August AND I got a VIN!

So stoked!! For info, ordered on 4/19 and was the first of an unknown allocated amount...

All my dealer can tell me is my status is "waiting list" this is a move up from the previous status which gave me an august ETA. what exactly does waiting list mean? Should i email SOA to force them to giveme more info since my dealer cant?

Give it a shot. You may not need to "force" SoA. They've always been as helpful as they could possibly be for me and I've corresponded with them several times.

You'll either get a "Insert month here" ETA or a blatant brush-off depending on who you talk to.

i say force, because the last time i emailed them i did get the polite brush off. got something along the lines of "contact your dealer, they can provide you the info" seeing as how my dealer cant, and i know SOA can but just doesnt want to , depending on who i talk to, maybe telling them my dealer is no help will get them to do it.
