RPF1 alternatives

Went with a set of O.Z. Ultraleggeras. Got them last week but was out of town for an extended weekend. So I'm planning on putting them on this weekend.

I have a friend who has a set of RPF1s that he is eventually going to sell. So I may still pick them up as well down the road as at a minimum I will run dedicated summer and winter tires. I also may still run a set of dedicated track tires like I did with my BMW.

Looks like the Ultraleggera is available in a 17x7.5 with a +35 offset and are 17lbs. They are a bit more expensive, but not too bad.

Love my Oz HLT's. Pretty rare in US Ok, maybe not so rare haha

17x8 > 17x7.5 with 225 tires. It's a bit of a pinch.

215 are probably okay on a 7.5 wide if they have decent grip. Though, as much as I prefer the feel and feedback of a narrower sticky street tire, I dont think I'd run a 215 if I was spending money on brand new wheels for this car. Even on stock 7" wide wheels they seem to be a bit pinched. But that's just me.

Actually while the wheel only price was more than the Konig, once TPMS sensors, lug nuts, mouting, etc. were factored in overall it was less expense for me to buy these thru Tire Rack than the Konigs would have been thru Discount Tire

Well if Tire Rack sold the Konigs, I would have bought those instead and saved even more
