RPF1 alternatives

I've done quite a bit of searching before posting this. Is there a thread anywhere that puts BRZ/86 wheel options into some price range buckets?

Specifically I am looking to see what different options there in a similar price range (say from $250-$350) and weight to the Enkei RPF1 (so maybe 15-18lbs).

I like the RPF1, but the 35 offset is only available in silver. This is not a showstopper, but I do prefer black/grey/anthracite.

Have you looked at 720form GTF1s? Pretty comparable in weight and price. Fitment is spot on (I had been wanting gold wheels for an STI/WRB look, so I painted them)

Koing Hypergrams in anthracite all different sizes and weight. Wish you were closer I am going to have a set for sale.

Apex Arc-8 seems like a good option...

I spoke with him and, IIRC, he wants 8" wheels, not 9".

Probably a good alternative.

Close to what I would ideally want. But it looks there is only a +40 and no +35 offset option. But that might be livable.

Any feedback on how O.Z. wheels are?

Looks like the Ultraleggera is available in a 17x7.5 with a +35 offset and are 17lbs. They are a bit more expensive, but not too bad.

I have a set of 17x9 hypergrams, cheap, light, good looking. I also just picked up a set of the 720form GTF01’s. Can confirm they are very light and look nice. Not super fond of machined spokes on painted black look, but can’t really beat the price and weight, for a 17x9 +35.

Everything I'm seeing on these are Canadian sites. Also can't find the weight of them.

Any suggestions?

I'm a big Apex fan as I had ARC-8s on my BMW (working on selling them), just wish they had an 8" option as I plan on starting with 225/45s. Others may opt to do so, but I wouldn't personally go any smaller than a 245/40 on a 9" wheel.

If you plan to start at 17x8 and move to 17x9 for sure get something more cost effective or holds it's value well
