I am _really_ loving the bronze STI wheels, and I'll even say I really like the stockies. Way better than what we got with the 1st gen zenki/kouki.

Looks like the first lot of 2nd gen BRZs will arrive in Oz in October to December this year.

Don't know if it's just me, but that STI knob looks awful. I would see that as a downgrade to the stock 1st gen model even.

I know it's a small nit, but the attachment of the front license plate on the BRZ is so much more awkward than on the GR86. Stuck on the edge of the front fascia/bumper, it looks like some sort of cancerous growth on the upper lip just crying out to be removed.
I wonder if the plate could be moved down into the grille itself like the GR86 attachment? Or is the BRZ grille too small to fit a license plate (or maybe it would block too much airflow)? |
