That line between the tail lights looks like a line.

I am _really_ loving the bronze STI wheels, and I'll even say I really like the stockies. Way better than what we got with the 1st gen zenki/kouki.

Looks like the first lot of 2nd gen BRZs will arrive in Oz in October to December this year.

https://www.caradvice.com.au/949461/...rending&slot=0

Also got an email from Subaru to register my interest.

Subaru Oz website has been updated now too. Not long now!

I also see a really big bubble next to the left exhaust; hopefully this was ironed out in preproduction. It looks gross like a rash. My lease is due soon and while I usually don't want a 1st year car... I don't want to drive my 01 Camry beater for a year.

Don't know if it's just me, but that STI knob looks awful. I would see that as a downgrade to the stock 1st gen model even.

Yea I’m with you there.

Still not wild about the STI wheels. The spoke pattern is great, but they’re actually slightly convex in the face profile. More aggressive offset to get the face concave would make them look a lot better.

I know it's a small nit, but the attachment of the front license plate on the BRZ is so much more awkward than on the GR86. Stuck on the edge of the front fascia/bumper, it looks like some sort of cancerous growth on the upper lip just crying out to be removed.

I wonder if the plate could be moved down into the grille itself like the GR86 attachment? Or is the BRZ grille too small to fit a license plate (or maybe it would block too much airflow)?

Still not on the Southeast US website (US has two distinct regions for Toyota), not even in the "upcoming vehicle" section.

They do have the bZ4X there though (Toyota's EV SUV) that I had not seen before. It's definitely a "look we can build one that's as ugly as everyone elses" type car. What's with the extra long nose?

Could be in preparation for PP brakes in the future.
