I just got a set of Yokes from Discount Tire online. I checked today and they seem to have 245/40-17s and 255/40-17s in stock.

That's crazy I just called them yesterday and they told me they were on backorder nationally. You were actually able to order a set online?

Bizarre, and a bummer. Yeah, I ordered (and received) a set a couple weeks ago. When I ordered, their site said they were "available", just like today, so I assumed they were still "available". Sorry for the wrong information!!

Ordered from Discount Tire Direct the other day and was told backorder and it was cancelled.

...but I went ahead and ordered from Discount Tire. Order went through, so we'll see if it gets cancelled, too.

Yeah.... I knew I should have went ahead and bought a set of Yokos a few weeks ago when they were easy to get. Now I’ll be lucky to make a few calls and pay who knows how much for shipping. That’s if there’s not already a line for that option too.

Guess I’ll be using my 660’s at the South Texas Tour. They really aren’t that bad but they are still a little behind what the Yokos are capable of.

I ordered 255/40/17 ao52's Monday morning from DTD and they showed up yesterday. Hope they don't rub too much with 17x9 +35 wheels.

My coilovers came back from KW this week too, so I will have to get them, my new RLCA, and top hats in this weekend. Was hoping for 400# springs, but can't find any

So, if someone has some from their T2 or other 60mm applications, I would be willing to buy them ASAP

Here is my STX set up
Redshift competition coil overs (revalved BC racing ) 8K F/R
Camber -3.5 F. .1 toe out
-2.5 rear. .05 toe out
Caster around 7.5
Perrin 22mm front bar.
Stock rear
White line lower control arm
SPC camber bolt lower hole., lower bolt moved to top slot.
Could easily get -5 or more in front if I wanted.

Did I miss something around here? Why 255 instead of 245? I thought it was accepted as proven that 245 was the better way to go.

The 245 is only better when you can get it.

Perhaps on the 13-16 cars. Top of second gear would be way too low with 245's on my 17+.

Is the 22mm FSB the undisputed way to go vs something smaller with the same spring rates front and rear and stock diff and stock rear bar?
