I gave it a good long spray at the car wash. Ran over the remains of a coyote on the way to Des Moines last night and the undercarriage looked like a Tarantino movie. Much better now, and thankfully no real damage that I've noticed so far. I'll have to get under it for a closer inspection once I'm home.

Added an alcantara gauge cluster hood from JPM coachworks. Doesn’t really serve any purpose but I love the look haha.

Finally got around to painting my wheel trim black. That about finishes off the interior stuff I wanted to do.

Well, it's spring, so I ordered some spring things. Shifter springs, clutch spring, RCE Yellows and B6 kit... Oh and steering rack bushings and oil change kit.

I'm getting the 3M protective film installed, Spyder Vision tint on the headlights and reverse light cluster (perforated black vinyl - looks dark during the day but lets all the light out), debadging the FR-S badge and swapping the Scion badges for Toyota ones. bitlife pc jiofi.local.html

Swapped in the MTEC clutch spring tonight. That was a surprising PITA for something that looked so simple! Pleased with the result, though. Pedal feels like it should have all along, and somehow the throw feels shorter?

That spring makes a big difference, it's impressive how much. You can adjust where your clutch engages, there's plenty of DIY posts here.

The next step is to install the shift spring kit. These springs really improve the shifter feel.

Being able to drive to FT86MS and buy in stock parts is bad for my wallet

Edit agreed about the mtec clutch spring. That was the first mod I did. I ordered it before I took delivery.

Did you need to get extended studs to run them? Looking to pick them up as well.

I did yes. Went with ARP 2.5". Was able to install them on the rear without removing the hub. Required the nipple at the end to be cut off but does the trick.
I wouldn't feel comfortable running anything more than 3mm on the stock studs.

Oh and I installed both the trans bushing and shift springs. Springs were a lot easier than I've read. I used a wire brush on a drill to clean the threads when I took the bolts out and they went back in with no issues.
