Geez, a little over a quart of oil (1 Liter) is considered "normal" every 1500 miles? If I had a car using that much oil, I'd be in a panic.

Toyota must have busted BMW’s balls there. BMW considers 1liter/1000 miles normal.

That said I’ve never had a BMW that burned a noticeable amount of oil.

same here, never had that issue with my E39, E60 and the short time i had with my F10.

so from what I understand Toyota has sent out questionnaire to all 2021 owners that are reporting low oil levels and and will give a TBS to dealers soon after.

Are they replacing it with an identical engine? If so, what's the point?
