Psoo2010 can you take a brighter pic of the boot - I can't see the donut - judging by that pic you posted up it's not too bad with the donut since those are big boxes - you can easily fit 2 big luggages in the 86 and more!

BTW, TMCA is the one who made up the poor excuse of "OOOHHHH DONUT MEANS LESS SIX LITRES BOOT SPACE" - so it's their first world problems not ours - we love donutssss

Brighter donut...

Dont discount the extra 6 litres- it translates to many more litres in useable space.

Don't discount the persistence of a sales person that wants to see those RP03s on an 86.

Thanks Psoo2010 for the extra pic - at the end of the day, it's not so much the fact that we're bemoaning the loss of the spare ... if we were told before signing the contract that there is a chance that the spare MAY be deleted during the production process / wait then we will make our decisions accordingly whether to purchase or not.

For many of us here, we have bought the 86 on the basis that it has a spare wheel and we have to live with the donut, and removal of the spare wheel represents a significant loss in dollar value that is nowhere near compensated by just putting the tyre repair kit, notwithstanding the safety aspect that is compromised by not having a spare wheel.

I hope my dealer will do the right thing - as if they won't budge it looks very likely that I might have to cancel my order, so let's wait and see.

After my experience in buying cars for over 20 years this is the first time that a major motor vehicle company has decided to change specification after the fact - and no consideration what so ever for people who have already placed their order, that is all.

Lol post was far from serious but 5,000rpm is enough to get the rear tires moving

My old NC MX-5 had a jack and the tools, along with compressor and the can of goo. Trust Toyota to do the same.
