WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BRZ TODAY?

Finally, I was able to clean and detail her.

Whoa. Can a simple header and tune cause that or just bad luck?

Time to rebuilt it AOL style; bigger, faster, stronger.

probably not because of either. my guesses are spun bearing that seized or the vvt oil starvation and shit smashed and exploded

Replaced my 16 BRZ’s OEM suspension with 17+ 86/BRZ including the rear sway bar. Also finally got some camber bolts in. I’ve been driving the heck out of it and I can’t get over how much better it feels. No harshness, even more pointy, balanced much better in turns and the front doesn’t push nearly as much before. I’m so happy about it! Found all parts used and spent a measly $140. If you haven’t updated your pre facelift car yet you totally should! Now to find a 4.3 diff

Not very exciting, but removed the trunk lock key mechanism and free'd it up so the key works again. Good for another 8 years.lol

GSR is currently dead. The owner of the land scrapped the road track idea a few months back and is currently building a dirt oval. That could change in the future, but I don't find it likely.
Didn't make it out to Boise over the weekend, but the event was on the channel 9 news this morning. Looked like a good turnout.

That sucks. This is pushing me to installing a fire system in the car. I was lucky when mine threw a rod, it only lost a little oil.

There is a picture on here somewhere of a recent engine bay fire from throwing a rod. That was already in my head after losing an engine on track.

i 110% dodged a bullet here. luckily i rolled up and off ramp so all the oil pooling on my skid plat was running off and onto the street. my ace headers are now a nice brown from the oil that did spray on it. also adding an extinguisher to my build list
