it took me about an hour and a half to get everything apart, MAYBE an hour to do the actual change, then over 3 hours to get the trans back on, and probably another hour and a half to 2 hour to get everything back together. that was with me filming and i took 35 mins of video. if you have a friend i bet you could do it in 1/2 the time |

I am also part of SRRSCCA (Snake River Region SCCA) and do autocross regularly. First event of the season is this weekend. |

At the Idaho expo? I was a member of the San Francisco region SCCA for about 15 or so years. I haven't done any cone racing for years ( or any racing for that matter). Maybe I'll stop by to check it out. Being a scca member, have you heard anything on progress on the Gem State Raceway? |

GSR is currently dead. The owner of the land scrapped the road track idea a few months back and is currently building a dirt oval. That could change in the future, but I don't find it likely. |

ive been running headers and a tune on it for years. oil and coolant temps were fine too. i havent looked but im guessing i spun a bearing and it locked up and blew up.i was just cruising the highway, lost power then bang and the back jumped and i clutched in immediately. coasted in neutral up an off ramp and the engine is totally seized and oil ALL over the car except in the pan. i kind of expected this but after i install the supercharger that is arriving tomorrow. |
