How to stop 18x9.5 RPF1 Rubbing front fender liner at full lock

I am currently running a squared set of 18x9.5 +38 RPF1s on my BRZ. I am running KWV3 coils, around 1.5 degrees of camber, and firehawk indy 500 255/35/18 tires.

At full lock, my tires rub the fender liners, causing them to get ripped out every few thousand miles.

I also have tie rod ends that allow a few extra degrees of steering angle.

What are my options to stop this from happening?

I would definitely consider buying two extra wheels with different offsets or widths if that would solve it.

I would also consider downsizing width or height all together if thats the best option.

Any and all feedback greatly welcomed.

Thanks guys and gals,
Blake

Moar camber?
What size tires? if 255s, go to 245s which are both narrower and shorter

Extended studs and spacers (and lots of - camber) helped me run 295/35R17 Hoosier A7s square on 17x9.5et45 wheels.

I am running 18x9.5 +36 on 245/35-18s with RCE SS-1 (KW shock so very similar to yours) and -2.7 camber up front. I don't rub on the fender liners at all. I am pretty sure you can get 255s on similar specs and not rub, too. The only thing I could think of is maybe add some more camber.

What part of your tire is rubbing?

255/35/18, yessir. Will 245s fit on a 18x9.5 wheel?

For how many times I have taken the wheels off, its a miracle I haven't broken a stud. Only problem with this approach is that my tires are already flush with the fender, I dont know If i could add a spacer and not have the tire poke out.

Hmmm, its the front side of the tire, presumably the front right side of the tire that is touching. I am assuming this based on what part of the fender liner is getting ripped out. Not unlikely that its also the back right side of the tire, but this part of the fender liner appears to be much less susceptible to wear. Love the RCEs, they were a bit out of my price range after getting a hella deal on the KWs

Yup, 245/35/18 fits on 8" - 9.5". Unfortunately not many 200tw "Extreme Performance" tires in that size though. If you're planning on tracking it you should go 225s on 17x8 or 245 on 17x9 IMO

Yup, you need *camber*. Unfortunately if you are on stock struts and spring diameters, you won't be able to get much if any with camber bolts with 9.5" +38 wheels. Camber plates will get you plenty, but be aware some of them rob you of bump travel if you are running lower than stock. Offset top mounts (Pedders?) + camber bolts *might* get you there.

Agreed with the above that more camber sounds like your best solution with the bonus of handling improvement. If you're not tracking or doing much twisty's, then maybe a downsized tire is the better option.
