Electricity? Back on the farm?

I didn’t even consider using a phase converter. I probably should have figured it was single phase. I don’t know many people who have 3 phase at their homes.

Welp, that's faster than it was back in the day (during the winter, in Indian territory).

It came as a bit of a shock this morning when I realised I've owned my BRZ for 8 years. Crikey! How did that happen?

I'm guessing I can't really refer to it as a new car anymore.

I may finally be breaching the limits of how practical a twin is.

I went to U-haul to pick up some boxes and packing materials so I can get a headstart on packing this week and the biggest box (flattened) I could fit through the trunk opening was a medium, by folding it. I'll need to go back for wardrobe boxes and probably at least one or two large boxes. Might need to get crafty to fit those in. I know they'll fit inside with the back seats folded, but the question is how to get them through the opening.

Random Thoughts - Part Deux [NO POLITICS]

Local budget building supply place had a bunch of butcher block counter top for 175 a slab. I paid over 300 a piece at the last house I used butcher block. Cut my counter top cost in half and will look a lot better then Formica.

This is how they looked at my old house.

Formica? Butcher block? I'm not sure if 1970 or 1980 is calling for its countertop back.
