That's what I was trying to show there. I spent $500 less (not even completely cheaping out on Ksport, Megan or Rota) plus kept the original 18" wheels and tires, and guarantee that the AEM full cold air and Tanabe Cat-back make more power than the TRD drop in filter and axle back.

Unless your brand new to mods/can't do it yourself/don't want to learn, try to stay away from dealer installed options, people. Try to learn about modding your car yourselves. Or at the very least support your local speed shops!

well im not exactly shocked, funny thing is that the car in the video looks just like the FT II i wonder if they just popped off toyo badge and slapped on the scion one haha.

when the time comes i'll test drive this and the subie and make my decision then, who knows maybe scion will suddenly make an about face change it's way, if not the pleiades badge will have what i want.

I forget sometimes people don't get sarcasm on inter net forums..

Plus anyone that would notice a car doesn't have emblems, might be into cars and have some clue as to what my car is. They could look right on my wheels and see Scion and tC on the it.. and my vin number is right on my registration sticker..

No need to buy an aftermarket fart can exhaust. Just have this guy ride a long in your back seat.

I'm pretty anxious for the concept, hopefully it looks as good as the FT-86 concept II!

That pretty much sums it up for most people. Even if they get the subie instead, thats still money in their pocket and toyota knows that.

But honestly I've come to terms(kinda) with driving a scion, as long as the interior is comfortable, the weight is low, and the power is decent... I'm happy. If not there's always the gen coupe as my backup.

i say it makes sense to get the subaru version...

since the engine is a boxer after all...

and the name of the car has no "86" in it.
