I finished this yesterday.
The GR STi Button is a completely different harness connector. I know this because I ordered the wrong one. So I've got a fairly pricey paperweight. Let me know if anyone wants the GR part. The BRZ part is plug-n-play. You will need to put painters tape square in front of the panel (between Starter and Shifter)holding the starter. Then reach into the cubby and pull down-out, then up-out. The panel will come free of the dash. Disconnect existing harness, starter button and reassemble with new starter. It's pretty pricey. But if I put a price on happiness I wouldn't be driving a BRZ. |

I made the same mistake, purchasing the GR button. However, with a little creativity and electrical understanding, I made mine work just fine.

Yeah, I don't wanna be creative when it comes to my electricals. I want plug-n-play. I plan on using as many OE TRD,STi and SPT parts as possible. |

Yep. Got both the right and wrong ones from J-Parts. They have always been very easy to work with as far as ordering. But like my mistake, make sure that you only order the right part because they will not take returns.
