Check all your connections again first. Take the cables off and clean the posts and cable ends then put back on really tight.
Clicks usually mean not enough power so start there before beating on the starter.

As you said in the other thread (see now why two sucks) if it is still under warranty let them take care of it!

In the other thread he says he is just getting clicks so connection is the probable cause.

Indeed. Probably the first thing to check anyways. You'd think that would have been "fixed" when he changed batteries though

Gonna delete the other thread. Appreciate the help brother. I'll check those connections.

Not if the cable ends were dirty or not tight enough. I have had what looked like perfect clamps and posts that would not make a full connection until cleaned and had the living crap twisted out of them.
The first thing to check is always battery power. Loose connections mean nothing if there is no power in the battery!

I unhooked the battery multiple times. Everything inside the engine bay looks flawless. Part of the reason I bought the car was because it was so clean. Crazy how it goes from zero issues for an entire month to being dead to rights after parking it over night. Even with the battery connected, and the dash display on. I can't turn on headlights, lights inside the car, it keeps telling me the trunk is open even when it's not. It's like all the electrical components got fried. Maybe a faulty fuse box???

Gonna use this thread as the main one. Couldn't figure out how to delete the identical thread located in the GT86 Gen 2 subforum.

If you bypass the key (bridge the starter) does it turn over? If not then there's an issue with the wiring to the starter. If it does, then the ignition wiring is at fault. Good luck!

Problem one
To me it sounds like something drained the battery.

Problem two
Not getting enough voltage/energy to the starter.

Get a cheep volt meter and get a friend to help you learn to use it.
1)Check voltage at the battery. Both static and while trying to start.
2) Check voltage down the line to the starter. Again both static and while trying to start.

A good chance to learn both about the car and how to trouble shoot a problem.

Also, just remembered. The break pedal seems off. Like it won't fully depress. Not sure if this is associated.

OK so we have eliminated battery and battery connections as an issue. Now make sure your fuse block is tightly screwed down and the ground cable to the bellhousing is tight.

Passenger side black wire with bolt.
