2017 TOYOTA 86 WON'T START

Just bought a 2017 Toyota 86 Automatic about a month ago. Has been running flawlessly ever since I bought it. This morning I went to go unlock my car to drive to work and it didn't unlock. Opened the door with the manual key and when I got inside the car was dead. Assumed it to be a dead battery so I jumped it and got power to the dash. Car wouldn't start though. Opened up fuse box and everything was good on the multimeter. Replaced Battery, same issue. Dash is showing multiple errors (ABS, Power Steering, Break). Put Keyfob against Push to start, still nothing. Any idea what could be the issue? Dug through the forums and couldn't find an answer so I signed up for an account. Thank you so much in advance.

This thread will need to be moved as it's in the wrong section. I'm sure someone can better answer your question, but could be the starter? You said you replaced the battery, does it at least crank? What is happening when you try and start it?

It appears they have no power at all but that is unclear.
This problem has come up about 4 times in the last month so not sure how much searching was done.
Answers needed to even start to guess:
Does "no start" mean crank but not fire? No crank? Only clicks?
Was any work at all recently done on the car even if it seems irrelevant?
Battery was replaced but is it verified as fully charged?

Bad connection or ground most likely

Two identical threads. Neither in the appropriate place.

Yes, no crank. Just clicks. New battery was reading at 14 Volts upon purchase/install. Don't believe it's a battery related issue. Thought it could possibly be R13 in the fuse box Starter (ST CUT). But that was giving me a good reading. The problem of no vehicle start is found many times in the threads. But every single one was resolved with a new key fob/new battery. Key fob unlocks the car, and shows green inside the vehicle. Pressed it against the push to start and still nothing.

Sorry, I'm not sure where I'm supposed to put this. I just made an account. Trying to resolve this issue without getting it toed to the Toyota Dealership.

Just click is the main clue. means some but not enough power is getting to the starter or the solenoid is toast.
Did you do any recent work in the engine bay? Clean the cable ends well when replacing the battery?

It's OK we just confuse easily if there is more than one thread on a subject!

There are other places than the dealership that can fix your car

For sure, but I believe the Powertrain is still under warranty via Toyota. So if it's anything more than just a simple electrical issue, I'd prefer to hopefully get it fixed on their dime. Seems like the dang thing got hit by lightning and destroyed the computer.

No work done. To the best of my knowledge it's completely stock. Good to hear that it's more than likely a starter/solenoid issue. Might try tapping the solenoid after I get off work and see if that does anything.

It's very unlikely that is the case. If it's under warranty then that's a perfectly valid reason to go to a dealership. Much more likely something is loose or a fuse/relay is bad. Perhaps a sensor
