Learn to rev match. Don't money shift. Drive like a normal human. Have you ever locked the front wheels on a FWD car because you shifted wrong? If so, you did it wrong. If not, then why are you worried about the same thing happening on RWD?

All cars above come with the same tires. Tires determine grip levels. A car with stickier aftermarket tires will probably have more grip.

Whatever youtube fucboi hole you got yourself into, you need to get out if it and do better research.

Well it's not about rev matching. They say it's a "feature" implemented only in twins since 2016 - not side effect nor "bad shifting".

I have no idea what he is saying in the video, but there is a lot of piss-poor driving in it. Are these other videos "how to drift" videos that happen to feature the brz? Anything can be a feature if it is a desired aspect. If you do not desire to drift, don't use the drifting"features". Or just get a Camry or something.

There is no drift mode on this car. There is either a translation issue, or the guy does not know the technical aspects of what he is talking about. There is a sport mode which will not let you drift, or you can shut TC off. Why a RWD car would need a drift mode is beyond me. AWD cars like the Focus RS had a "drift" mode to send more torque to the rear wheels, but that is AWD.

I think your referring to Takumi Fujiwara, he has proven himself quite capable with the 86 platform.

So there is nothing like that as a "feature" which blocks yours wheels on downshift in sport mode? The due why I am asking for that is that I've heard it only in videos but didn't find anything like that in specifications.

Okay, that question makes more sense. There is, but only on an automatic. If you are in manual shift mode on an auto I believe it will not allow you to downshift if it will cause on over rev.
