Drove my car today, circa 40miles.. last month I had managed circa 7miles.. I'm enjoying the new tyres, stable, good feedback, not too loud and my wife said the car feels smoother..

Need to see the dog on his bespoke bench. We can then judge if you've done a good job.. Dogs can be very fussy..

That abandoned parking garages are tense and creepy. Bring a tripod and a friend to keep watch.

Parking garages, yep, I have a back-in-the-day parking garage story. I was living in San Jose. I flew out of San Francisco on a week long business trip. At the end of the week, I flew back home to San Jose. I couldn't find my car anywhere in the San Jose airport parking garage. So, I reported it stolen. Then it dawned on me that I had flown out of San Francisco ! So, I took a limo to San Francisco airport garage to get my car. Yep, there it was, just where I had parked it. I fired it up and headed back home to San Jose, when I was pulled over by the CHP for possession of a stolen car! Now, this was before cell phones, I was going to call and tell them I had found my car as soon as I got home. The moral of that story is to NOT to drink and fly -

I got them from ftspeed. As you might know comes with everything you need plus additional parts/wires for the Japanese cars. ![]() Used the main harness (right) which the drls attach. The connected does not have a place on the us cars so I just add my wiring and fed it through the driver side by cutting the tip of the nipple on the firewall (which is placed for aftermarket installs) ![]() Then I finished the engine bay install hiding everything below the front panel (from behind the air filter to the coolant reservoir) ![]() ![]() In the cabin I used the switch that came with the kit. Drilled the hole on a replacement panel that I got from the dealer. ![]() ![]() The switch has red, red/black (switch), and black(ground) wires. I connected the red coming from the engine bay to the red of the switch, combined the grounds from EB and switch and wired to a suitable place. Finally, for the red/black wire I used a fuse tab (10A) and replaced it for the DRL in the cabin fuse box. ![]() They turn on with the DRL in the headlights and turn off when you stop the car. Thats exactly what I was looking for. Since you have the switch you can also turn off whenever you want. I am not an expert and this was the best way that I could figure out from my search. Hope it helps! |
