Drove it home, took it apart and found that the hardware clip on the caliper was damaged. The clip bent which was causing it to rub against the venting on the rotor. Luckily I had a spare clip on the shelf, so I swapped it out

You were luckier than Vettel.

Finally took my car - and myself - to drive on track for the first time.

I had gone in without expectations, and being my first time I was fearing the worst with all the higher powered cars cutting me off several feet apart and pushing me out of the racing line, but I eventually got the hang of it. Lap times were way higher than the average 86 could attain but I was still learning to use all the brake and grip capacities I had.

All in all, it was great fun - can't wait to get back out there again.

Toasted my first wheel bearing on track. Replacement comes tomorrow.

It sent a bunch of heat into the tire and expanded it to 43psi. Mangled it a bit. There was no noise or grinding. Even when off it was only slight.

How are your Whiteline sway bars holding up? Any clunking noises?

No noise or clunk on the front. I had a lot of noise on the rear, It sounded like spring bind added squeaking. I tightened/adjusted everything 3 times and it still wouldn't go away. I removed it a week ago and the noise is gone. Now I know it's the bar/end links for sure. I'll try to reinstall and see what happens :/

If I didn't like the setup so much I'd say screw it...

The wheel bearing is done and ready to squeeze in a few more track days!

I have the same problem in the rear. At first I thought it was the weak stock mount for the sway bar so I installed Whiteline's mount brace, but that did nothing. It might be the end links binding on the lower control arm. I might try greasing them up real good and adding some slip washers. Good luck!

The weak stock mount was my next move lol I already greased the crap out of the bushings.

The holes in the sway bar are oversized and sloppy but I don't see how that could be making noise though. A guy at work suggested drilling it out and putting a collar in. I'll post if I find anything. Good luck to you too!

Not sure what kind of lower control arm you have but I just have the SPC pressed metal ones. I'm thinking that the sway bar end links are too tight in there. I.m going to try to add some washers in there or, as a last result, get some billet control arms.

I have SPL and they're tight in those too. That could be the issue.
