lol, the gap WAS huge. But I fixed it. Chris' instruction says the screw was most likely all the way in, so I took it to heart.

I was also in a rush since I was late for a dinner, so I gave myself extra time this morning before work. The screw spun about 4 times or more before it bottomed out!

The turns are also very subtle, but it's all better now

Great job on this knob. Also weight.. I could take this off and beat off carjackers...

Also, the gap is tiny now. Minimal. The knob also has space cut out to allow the reverse ring to go up into the base of the knob.

It was when I originally put it on but I pretty much had to put the adjustment screw all the way in and now there is no noticeable gap. It took me quite a while to get the shift pattern on straight.

It's all about personal preference. I prefer a nice clean look but to each his own.

Ordered mine tonight! I got the Stainless Sphere shown here with the Burnt Gunmetal finish since I think it'll blend in more with the dark interior. Also opt-ed for the shift pattern engraving along with two narrow grooves at the bottom (think it'll go well well with reverse lockout).

Can't wait to get it! Love me a heavy shift knob, I had the Greddy Billet CNC one on my Si. Decided I'd keep it shorter this time.

It weighs in at 1lb, lol... I always thought my aluminum Sparco on my Civic had weight, but this is crazy. Just by weighting in my hands, it's more than double the weight of stock...

Was that laser etched? and by whom if I may ask?

If the shift knob you have or someone else that weighs close to a 1lb is probably because it was made from 303 stainless or something.

I'm glad to see WCLW was able to make the shift knob you wanted.

WC will do it. Just e-mail the design you want and you can figure out what can and can't be done. He will also do custom knob designs too, as long as they can be turned on a lathe.

Just ordered one like the OPs. Like the classic simplicity, & curious about the change in shift throw feel
