Went with a buddy from work to a new BMX park in our area that I didn't know about. He wanted to take his 5 year old son. Was happy to get over all but 2 of the biggest jumps without putting my face in the dirt. His kid sent a table top, came up short and hit the deck. But he got up and hit the same line again. Was a lot of fun, spent two hours out there.

Got another 200 disposable masks coming.
Cloth masks are a PITA, you need to decon them every few hours to be effective, disposable are way more convenient, it costs me around $0.4 per mask. The 200 will typically lasts up 4 weeks. Stopped buying car parts. Still buying bike parts. The car is spotless and shiny. The bike is spotless and shiny.....and loud.....the Db killers are on backorder and not due till the end of August. The Mrs is out for coffee and shopping with the girls tomorrow, I'm going for a ride along the coast to see the mad seas from a big east coast low, hopefully not getting booked for speeding or for loud exhuast. Fun times

For my 31st birthday, I squatted 275lbs and felt pretty good (i.e. no belt or other assists). Closer to my 305lbs goal by the end of summer.

Hell, I squatted 195 lbs this morning and I'm 77 years old. Yep, I squatted down to pick up something and straightened back up - once -

Welp, folks, the ma-ma & pa-pa summer camp (COVID style) is shut down for the week. However, it will open up Monday morning.
The 4 ager is much happier now that pa-pa put up a smaller pool, just for her. Note ma-ma's special chair and rocking footstool, so she is happy, sitting out there reading books. Pa-pa's part of the deck is around the corner (shaded of course) where he and his pet critters hang out. Well, it ain't Disneyland, but it's the best we can do under the circumstances. |

42) working out where I can do the stealth install of the Dukes of Hazzard air horn I impulsively purchased from eBay one fuzzy evening. Nowhere to hide it but near the front wheel wheel/lights. Any ideas?
