I was 24 years old and never experienced the stomach pains caused by methyl parathion poisoning. Back when they got things "approved" to put on a pesticide label, all they had to do was to scribble their thoughts on the back of an envelop and send it the registrations manager which would have the USDA rubber stamp approval.

You were a field research manager a single year before you were a company commander? This timeline is a bit confusing...

Also, good advice for all dealings with other people IMO.

Well it's been a very long time since fireworks cause any sort of anxiety. I think it also comes down to the sounds or combination of sounds which spark it. Normally it's just the little pop and crackle or light booms and I don't bat an eye. If it's only a couple deep booms I might flinch but that's about it. But last night there were quite a few deeper concussive sounds which set me off. And the funny part is, it wasn't because of some mortar or whatever, but the sounds of explosions that brought up connected events! lol So yeah, psychology is confusing.

Yep. I was on active duty for 2 years followed by 6 years in the Army Reserves.

Can't remember who was the electrical guy around here? Soundman98?

Trying to figure out what I need to buy. I bought a small 6x6" hobby, desktop vacuum/dust collector made in Japan. The website states that, "This product is DC 12v and can be used in any country. However, The connector is not included. Use s connector that is suitable for your country."

The fan itself looks to be a small pc fan with a unique housing and dual nano-paper filter setup. I don't image it draws that much amperage.


I'm guessing a simple 110v AC to 12v DC adapter will work? I'm not sure what an S connector refers to. Any recommendations. TIA

I think volts have to be the same... amps must be at least (but can be more).

that is me, however, i've never heard of an 's-connector'. there's a translation error somewhere.

12v isn't much to go off of.

this is a pretty standard 12v adapter. it more than likely is enough, but without more electrical specs, i can't be 100% on that.

Thanks guys, cheap enough to go ahead and buy before the dust collector gets here. Due yo limiyed space I'm forced to hobby right next to my pc. I hope this helps the dust issues.

I have a tough time with all the gung ho shit in the national anthem as well. Kids dig fireworks because most of us were fascinated with blowing up shit.
