Changed wheel setup and installed springs this weekend. Just needs an alignment now but I'm really happy with the results. I was skeptical with the high offset on 245 but my calculations were correct and it's basically equivalent to a 17x9 +38 or +35 setup. Plenty of space between the perch and enough for a BBK.
Eibach Sportline on factory struts SPC Front bolts and Rear LCA ESR SR07 17x8.5 +30 245/40 Federal ST-1 Project Kics hardware: Hub rings, valve stems and R40 Iconix lug nuts

Spent the evening making her look pretty again. Did a wash, clay bar, polished with a scratch and swirl remover, then did a presealant polish, and applied a paint sealant

 Now the only logo in the engine bay is a TRD logo. I quite enjoy that in some twisted way.  Edit: pictures do not do justice to how much bigger the airbox and filter are than stock:

Nearly finished the STX build. All parts installed and roughly dialed in.
RCE T2's Vorshlag plates Verus LCA's Hotchkis 1" hollow front bar Hotchkis adjustable endlinks Openflash UEL header HKS Hi-Power Spec-L catback Openflash tune 949 6UL 17x9 wheels Yokohama A052's, 255/40 -4 camber in front, 0 toe -2.5 camber in rear, currently 0 toe Still need to raise the rear about 1/2" and then corner balance. |

Mod Monday!
Gruppe-S UEL arrived, the ceramic coating is just lovely! Also installed a Mishimoto PCV catch can and did an oil change with a new Fumoto valve.

Finally got around to a thorough detail... weather was not cooperating on weekends!
Did the interior last weekend, but today I did: Wheels off wash to get at the wheel wells Iron-x Decon Polished a few oxidized areas and swirls out Wolfgang Exterior Trim sealant to all plastic Coat of Soft99 Fusso Coat Dark Installed paint-matched mudguards (I applied PPF to the inside face beforehand) This was after getting out for 2 hours of kayaking and getting a nasty sunburn. I'm completely spent and I can tell I will be sore tomorrow, but it sure looks killer! |
