Normally not into CF, however that looks NICE !!!

A couple weeks in I finally got rid of my amber sidemarker for clear sti ones.

Got rid of my sound tube nonsense with a Perrin airbox to throttle body hose. Butt dyno approves.

Took the car on a trip to break in the clutch more due to Southbend saying it's "Progressive break in"

Aka, after 500 miles, it still wasn't holding the tq from e35+, so I beat the ever living shit out of it until it did around 1600miles.

Over the weekend I bought new front pads, new tires, and new axle nuts.

Threw on some numbers and RE-71r's and did some CS autocrossing for the first time in it. Both days were full wet in the morning and dry in the afternoon. Great opportunities to feel out and learn the car in all conditions.

Easy to install the steering wheel? Now you got me thinking doing my brz ts 2020 😅 but I love my stock ones also 🥴

Is it a smaller wheel diameter?

@marky Stock steering wheel is definitely pretty nice. Install is pretty straight forward, only hard part was just that it does take some force to pull the stock wheel off. After I installed the wheel, I couldn't get it to be centered, so I had to pay additional for an alignment. As far as size, it's not necessarily smaller, maybe the exact same size as oem.

Yup, just loosen the steering wheel bolt a bit but don't remove it. Center the wheel so you have a reference point then yank on it towards you - the threaded bolt will stop it from smacking you in the face. Then you can fully remove the bolt and the wheel. Be careful not to spin or move the clockspring!

If memory serves, the FT86 wheel is about the same diameter as OEM (362mm.) The 86Worx I had is about 355mm which is a bit smaller. My current wheel is from EastEndRaceshop and it's quite a bit smaller at 345mm.

Updated the map database in my nav system. 2013 BRZ, head unit had a 2011 map database installed, from Subaru. Was able to purchase a 2017 map database ($29.95). Install took about 1/2 hour.

Did they charge you labor fees on top of the map database cost?

No, I would have had to charge myself. My billing rate is quite high.
