New "normal", social distancing waiting in grocery store queues but no "social distancing" when rioting about stuff... We will acquire genetic modifications that allow us to riot in tight groups with zero fear of getting infected or hurt...

for over a decade, i have been a staunch supporter of "the Junk Switch". ei: a way to turn off one's sexual organs. and one must pass a comprehensive test verifying they're not an absolute moron before they're allowed to procreate...

My theory, real smart people are so busy with work, inventing stuff, designing series 2 Twins that they don't have time for babies.. Not so smart people are not very busy as they've done enough mods and other car improvements, run out of money/imagination so end up with time on their hands, more babies... This is natural evolution, smartness watered down to stop humans becoming so smart that they get to leave this little globe of fury and hate..

Yeah kids are a funny thing. Anyone who has half a brain and is any bit selfish would never. As a species though, it's almost suicidal not to reproduce. So are we the stupid ones for getting the darwin award for not contributing to this cess pool? Or are we the smart ones for knowing this planet is already way over capacity and just trying to the right thing? My excuse is I just don't want to raise a kid in this environment even though my life is pretty good right now. Does that make me selfish or irresponsible though? Maybe..

lol, there was a video once about this exact thing.. i can't find it anymore, or even remember what it was called. basically an 'educated/busy' couple that kept giving excuses why they didn't have kids yet, contrasted against essentially a redneck that boned anything that moved...

I don't think it makes you "selfish" or "irresponsible". "Selfishness", "irresponsibility" and I think "egotistical" motivators are drivers behind some people's want to have children. It saddens me to see kids living on the poverty line, zero or poor education, poor health and zero opportunities, none of this is their fault..

Maybe it's a factor of dilution, people in large groups just get attacked by a sub-lethal dose? -

I'm not sure that would work, short term at least. My junk switch got worn out a few years back and slipped OFF, but, I still do stupid things -

And may I ask "tested" for what? A) High intelligence. B) Middle-ish intelligence. C) lowish intelligence. D) Just plain thick. E) He's too busy designing Series 2 Twin. F) Drives a fucking Hakone, therefore "untouchable".

That's a saying in our household, whenever mrs humfrz or myself does something "strange", the other one will say "I'm going to have you tested" -

Now, in your case, I don't know where they would start -
