So can i go higher? Let's say up to 300F/150C. Or could i damage the headlight? I already see that the black plastic has not that oem quality. I do not own a oven this size, but i made a chamber out of cardboard and heat up the inside with a heatgun. There is no direct air flow on the light. But still no way to pry without too much bending... |

Try 225F then 250F. No reason to jump up to 300F. The other thing is 400F is roughly the melting point for injected molded plastics, but the deformation point is probably much less. Remember the heat wave in Arizona? It doesn't take much heat over time to deform plastics.

Hey guys. I bought 2017 tail lights a while ago and I had a new gasket put in. Today was the first rainy day and it seems that I didn't do my headlight gasket well enough or something. I was wondering how I can get this condensation out of my taillights? Or am I screwed and have to open it up?
On that note, anyone ever open up these tail lights? Can I reuse the gasket once I get it out? |

Heyo! Got some Spec-D headlights 5 years ago (2014 FRS) and can't find a good bulb to throw into them to make 'em brighter. It may be wiring/bulb choices, but my brights aren't bright and my normal running lights are a measly yellowish white. They look more like normal car lights even though I tried a few different bulb choices. Is there an HID/LED kit I could possibly try with the '14 Spec-Ds or an easy bulb to swap out for a brighter output?
P.S. I know the exterior lens needs cleaned, just wondering about bulbs. Thanks in advance!

goto www.theretrofitsource.com and order replacement bulbs / ballasts (if you currently have halogens). I do not recommend LED bulbs at all in projectors. -B |

I did this with a brz w stock fogs. Tj hunt has a video and I did EXACTLY what he did in the video and it's one of the favorite thing of my car now. I have the C lights on and the fog lights on at the same time. Ie: fogs are on with running lights. The thumbnail of the video says something like "dealerships hate him!"
