I said turbo cuz I'm hoping for one from the factory, but if not, I'm going supercharging. haha. Never seen a SC Boxer before. Was going to put a Magnuson MP90 on the Mazda until I decided to start saving for this car.

Yes sir, black one is from Australia. He's the one created the Raptor SC or NA Impreza (IDK bout the blue one). I was so tempted to buy it... but still debating to go w H6 engine swap or SC...

Sorry, should have specified. I've never seen one in real life. Everybody just rices out their WRX around here.

Ah~ ic. Local Subie member brought this Raptor SC and it sound so sweet! In general TC is a good (a lot more option to go)... but SC is rare to see in boxer engine, so I know what you mean.

Within the next year, I plan on putting a twin turbo setup on my FR-S. Twin Garrett GT1548 turbos should eliminate any lag and put out some pretty serious power.

with the power being achieved from such low boost pressures, fairly linear dyno charts why do the sc.

two small turbos with no lag would be ideal...330 - 350 hp would be perfect.

Doesn't matter - as the Engine pulls better at about 5000rpm - a SC would also make it I think - 300whp, 250lb/ft torque what I'd prefer (max. torque @ 3500 - max. whp @ 7000
) - redline @ 8000+RPMIf a turbo can do - would also be an option ![]() It also depends on whats easier to install or the price of the turbo/sc kits.. This car would really be perfect with FI and 100whp and torque more. |
