Lithium Battery mounting and isolator
I hate the messy battery terminal wiring on our cars so when my Braille 904 battery finally failed with age, I decided to change to lithium, and try to clean up a bit.
Decided on a Lithiumax at about half the weight of the 904 at 2.5kg, and with 48 AH... for about the same replacement cost. Comes with a very nice optional alloy mount and an ABS baseplate. This was my solution. Still 1kg lighter in total than the Braille, so very happy. (and please excuse the temporary velcro wrapping on the right of picture) |

BTW, why is the 'green' indicator on the isolator saying "No"? |

Interesting. Can you post detailed nfo, of what model is this battery, what was included, what was needed to custom make/customize in car and such (some DIY guide form)?

an old coworker once told me the story. he apprenticed to be an electrician under a very difficult retired military guy.
he once mounted a switch upside down, and at least in america, many of the switched have 'off' and 'on' embossed in them. so when it's upside down, it says 'no' like that. his boss came to him screaming "you're doing it wrong, so wrong even the switch is telling you NO!"

I'll guess it's part of the charge balancing circuitry. Charge rate of each cell must be controlled individually.

I probably have 200 of those blocks at work. We use them for various assemblies. I used one in my Toyota when I relocated the battery and to wire up accessories.
