Not to mention Ethanol has been in our gasoline since... 1999? Maybe before that? Again... hard to believe Ethanol could cause this. Then again people switching to Shell seem to get rid of the chirping. Will give it ago as soon as I need to fill up. |

So far from what I've gathered, most people distrust ethanol in their engines even though Subaru and Toyota both said its fine.
Once/When I get my FR-S I'm likely going to to filling up with 94 at Petro Canada unless there is some concrete proof of engine breaking. More octane is better than less anyways, hell my uncle has put airplane fuel into his jet ski before and that was a fun weekend.

I think you are all crazy. 94 Petro and 91 Shell are the two best available to us in Toronto. They will both work fine in the BRZ and FRS.
If you don't think so move to Vancouver. 94 Chevron no ethanol.

I was just looking at that if anyone was interested. Has well ill let get the quote from petro Canada but There 87= 10% ethanol There 89 = 5% ethanol There 91 = 0% ethanol There 94= 10% ethanol I know that they use ethanol in the 94 works has a octane booster but still kind of strange

Really? :o
I might look into that, even if it's that little... could be just for gas. I'm using visa 1% rebate for everything. ![]() EDIT: http://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/0,,8..._INFEN_ALL_047 Quote:
