I just got the news today that my car is in tomorrow. Yeah. It was so unexpected and I'm not even close to being ready yet since I thought I would get my VIN and have about a week or two to prepare.

There are plenty of us who ordered March 1st and still don't have cars, so I wouldn't bet on it. I still haven't received a VIN or information beyond "Month of August."

yeah that sucks, I ordered early April and have gotten no word.
I have been very disappointed by this preorder process. Its not like the exact same car as I preordered isn't out there and not sold. its just not at my dealership, I know of a few just one state over. I think subaru should of filled every preorder before they started filling dealers excess stock, with in reason I understand. I would of expected every preorder made before the first ship sailed to be filled before other dealers got excess.
But it feels like they honestly don't care about us who preordered. I know I got screwed over by my dealer selling the exact same car (color, transmission, and package) I have on order to someone who didn't even have a preorder. Just because he came in who offered them over MSRP for the car.

I got the call for a swp brz auto limited today that I have to pass on, and its up for grabs. See the southeast section.

I got "Shipped Rail with an ETA of 8/6/12" status today. The SOA customer service said expect it to be at the dealer lot by 2nd week of August. Can't wait.

I test drove and almost bought a Nismo 370Z last Friday. Good thing I didn't despite the zero down zero APR 60 month 2K off msrp offer. Too good to be true but it's true. Nissan hardly sell the mid-life 370z 's these days. They had 8 Z's on the lot all with 02/2012 assembly date and full of bird droppings. One was 5K off msrp.

I walked off the lot with a firm decision to wait for my WRB Limited 6MT. Then today I got the good news from my Subaru salesrep. Thank you SOA.

My car (ordered May 9, WRB LTD MT) got a VIN on 7/18 (mid 2000's) and today they confirmed port 8/10 and about a week for transport to our state after that. Getting real!
edit: even though it was a later order date than many here, we were still the first order placed at our dealership. Which has gotten one or two non-pre-order cars already. ;;

I see a pattern here of wrb limited 6mt orders getting filled. Looks like a batch of wrbs were recently shipped.

Just got off the phone with SOA... SWP Limited 6 Speed with VIN ending 2344. ETA is still 8/31/2012 per pipeline report and other database. Looks like orders are filled based on color and then VIN#.

Just wanted to update my situation. I ordered on July 1st from with a dealer in Long Island. Dealer and customer service had any ETA, vin or Von information. I was able to find the same car at a dealership in upstate NY. So I cancelled my order and picked it up from upstate at MSRP.

So the shipments SOA sends are color based? Well that sucks, seems like white and blue BRZs are all that SOA is producing.

Anyone order Black? That got a vin shipping this month or august?
