Dude I know the feeling! If I knew the wait was gonna be this long I never would've spoken about this car amongst my friends and just kept to the forums. Ordered March 18th with August ETA, no VIN. 6 of 10 from my dealership.

Looks like september for me based on your ETA, I ordered March 20 and 9/10 or 10/10 i think. The next few months are going to suck

I just got an update from my dealership today. They moved my August ETA up to July 30th! Looks like I'm matching some of the others here who got July 30 dates. Seems like Subaru is going with the underpromise / overdeliver strategy now.

Which dealer did you order through? I need to bug mine (Irvine) and see if there is an update on my August ETA.

I called SOA, and got nothing, but according to what I know...
the dealership I ordered from will be getting 35 cars total, and there was
7 month to the end of the year from April/May ...
the dealership should be getting 5 cars a month... and considering I am 24/35
I reckon I am looking at end of Aug/early Sept.

I thought I was the only crazy one who is willing to put a deposit down on MSRP and not have the car until 6 months later! Well, they did give me a brochure "this is for you to keep.."

My delivery ETA December is 2013!
Sooner if somebody backs out in front of me.

Well after 115 Days I FINALLY have a VIN and ETA as of last evening. Still two weeks to wait but after this that’s a walk in the park. FYI mine was ordered 3-13-12, BRZ Limited, SWP, Auto.

My ETA is 7-23-12 was told last night the status on my order changed to "released" (128 days), so maybe I will actually get the car, we will see.[/QUOTE]

Could it actually be happening, just got notified that the SOA pipe line status went to "shipped truck" today. It's an eleven hour drive from port to here, it may actually appear as planned on Monday 7-23-12 which would be 133 days!

How big of a significance does the "release date" on the Pipeline report say? Mine says 7/13/2012 and schedule date of 7/16/2012... The annoying part iss that the Estimated Arrival date is 8/31/2012. Again, VIN ends in 2344, SWP, Limited, 6 speed

Test drove (like a grandma) in a hot lava FRS (AT) this afternoon with the wife. She liked it.

The long gap is because of the shipping I would guess, which takes 4-6 weeks I think, but on the bright side your car actually exists physically and could arrive early

So I was just over on the Want to know where the closest BRZ at a dealer is.... thread.
On 07-17 sparks posted that there are 5 of exactly what I ordered (DZE in white) in bordering states. Funny how I have waited since April third and instead of sending my dealer the car I ordered subaru has sent my car to other dealers to sit on the lot.
