Where to download Free OTS maps?

I have a tactrix cable from my STI days, now I am thinking of getting a BRZ, do you guys know anywhere I can find some OTS maps to get rid of the torque dip? Thanks a lot!

Get it from the official openflash tablet website:

https://support.openflashtablet.com/...3-us-6mt-v4-03

You'll need to search for tunes specific for your car's user ID. You then request the free ecu maps and they send it to you.

This reddit post helped me alot when i started out:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ft86/commen..._or_2_for_170/

So far I've had no luck with other websites like ROM raider but if you're using an openflash tablet or ecuflash with your laptop connected to OBD2 port the files from openflash will work great.

Thanks for the reply bro, I really appreciate that! I got was able to download a few file from OFT and trying to load them to ecuflash, it showed the following msg:
The ROM you have loaded has one or more incorrect checksum values.
Do you wish to correct them?

I guess from the post I should click yes but I do not know how it will affect the flash since I might break the ECU, what was your experience on that?

I got that error too, I found this video to help.
Basically the checksum value error appears because it’s been edited in RomRaider and you’re using ECU flash to copy it.

Be carefull, OpenFlash tunes are internally modified, Tactrix/ECUflash doesn't like that, you can brick your ECU.
Best is to take an A01G (MT) or A01I (AT) of it's an 2012-2016 series. If its an 2017+ model take the K00G/K00I tunes.
Those aren't modified. All of the tunes are G/I series tunes anyway.

Edit: to download them use the searchbar at the openflash website, just put in "za1j<calid>" and than you need to "buy" them (for free).

example: za1jA01G

Thanks for the reply, let's say my car is 2017 with K00C, so if I go to Openflash to download K00G roms without modify them, I just use ecuflash to flash it into my car, will that work? I am asking becos the calids are different.

Should work, the K00C is internally an K00G anyway
