I'll probably take a break from the monitor soon and go take pics of my Flex Z's I will be posting for free.
What was your job? At first, sounds like engineering, but later on sounds like IT.

Posting your Flex Z for free? Need rebuild? or something wrong?

I do a little bit of everything around here. We are a small manufacturing company so I do a lot of tech support as well as work on new product and make changes to existing product. I've been the production manager as well as running our parts department and overseeing shipping and receiving. So I have a lot of experience in different aspects of the company. You wear a lot of hats in a small company. We also make leaf springs for trucks so I get tasked with figuring stuff out. It's fun work to be honest.

I have had them for 2 years. They don't leak, but they also don't feel as good as they used to so I imagine the cartridges need replaced soon. I figured for the cost of shipping they might be worth using, or replacing the cartridges to someone. If no interest I'll toss them. They honestly probably still ride better then some of the crappy coilovers on the market that people buy.

Reminds me of a back-in-the-day story when I flew a PC-12 up to a little airport in Northeastern Canada for some Salmon fishing expedition. The guy who answered the radio as flight service was the same guy who marshaled us in, got the rental car for the PAX, loaded the bags into said rental car, I asked for fuel and he went and got the fuel truck.. then he told us we can head inside to the counter to pay. When he walked in behind the counter I laughed out loud. I was like wow you wear a lot of hats eh? He was like yeah there has been a lot of downsizing here. This airport has like a full on terminal inside too not just some little FBO. I thought I was on like a prank show for a minute.

Ah~ sounds like fun? busy? Maybe both? I'm surprised that you don't make your own springs or parts for your car. It could be a fun... but again, IDK in-depth of your manufacture, so IDK

I can't do coil springs unfortunately. Not setup for it tooling wise.

Depends how busy I want to be. A lot of the stuff I work on never makes production due to cost or safety concerns. I put in the hours and stuff gets done so they don't bother me. I should send you a link. Chances are quite a few people have used our equipment without ever thinking about where it was made.

I am busier than ever. I have real things to do for the first time in years. Since there is only the HR manager and myself left in the plant I am a security guard, receiving clerk, janitor, stationary engineer, IT, maintenance tech, mail room runner, telephone receptionist, contractor liaison, plumber and anything else that is needed that is usually done in a factory of 300 people.
On top of that I am inundated daily by new and updated reports requested by the customers and corporate. These all consist of 80 to 150 questions on what we are planning for start up but no two are in the same format so I just answer over and over and over. Also, I have at least two video conferences a day where they repeat the same thing and tell us what the new and updated reports need to include. I have not done so many PPT presentations since the program came out and I had to convert all the overheat slides over!

I was looking at TRD front bumper and fender and noticed it reminded me of other fenders I have seen it before. After 30~40mins staring at it, I've figured out. It's Max Orido's fenders.

Is that mean anything? Nah, still expensive ($1,850+shipping).. but cheaper than $15k

I like the whole no fender garnish fake vent piece. Or ordered some GCS "TRD replica" fender garnish's. I am either going to use shipping foam to make a mold of them, and try building some out of carbon. Or just blank them off with a carbon insert.

Do like TRD garnish. If I get Marsh's GTC cf hood, def having it closed off would be nice.

If not, I want it like GRMN86 garnish. Having TRD function of down force plus vent to cool off the engine bay

I know there's a thread to get member interested & get Verus to make something
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139387

2 key important part of 86 are:
1 - Balance
2 - Cooling

If you make one, ship a pair on my way lol

Another random thought
I'm surprised right now, no brand have made small shark-fin antenna for the twin. For someone who doesn't want huge shark-fin.

The ones I have are the fin style. I’ll probably make multiple sets. Just haven’t decided if I want to vacuum bag it or wet lay it
