I'm not that interested in ACE or JDL header because of the fitting issues, so I'm more oriented to the Fujitsubo...

It's unfortunate that they can't at least publish something applicable to their international market. It's almost as if they just don't care, or have no interest.
Fujitsubo has 1 person on staff that can understand English: Fujitsubo-san himself (the grandson not the founder).

He's the same age as Kenji at Cusco minus the overseas experience. Everything they do is reliant on their overseas partners, which is basically Cusco USA.

So that's why there is no interest/they don't care. None of the dealers were stepping up to try to help or steer the sales strategy. I tried my best to help but it ended up all in flames with FR

Looks like you might have to pay the price for the full exhaust system. Though if you don't want the catback portion, you could just sell it.

Exactly, I'd keep the header and FP, and pair it with my catback.

I don't know. Personally I trust the factory heat shields. Sometimes you need to sacrifice a bit of performance for more piece of mind. I don't want to be afraid passing road puddles with standing water when the header is hot! This is a road car, not a dedicated racing car and I want to keep it for many years. Another issue is future maintenance and to find easy parts let' say a decade from now. It seems to me a kind of mess having to find after a long period of time a different header (given the rarity of the specific), to make a new program and so on. It would be much easier to find stock parts. If I was planning to keep the car for a maximum of 5 years, then I wouldn't care that much.

Will you wrap the header, overpipe and front pipe? Fujitsubo provides a wrap only for small areas of the exhaust that are close to other car parts. It is not enough to wrap the complete exhaust.

You dont have to throw the original out. Stuff it in the closet.

Well, I owned a Peugeot 206 RC before, it had stainless steel 4-1 header and metal cat, and no under body protection nor lower heat shield (just upper).
They became red under hard use, never had a problem during normal road use...

Yes... but Peugeot has normal inline engine with the header located sideways and not underneath the engine close to road. I wouldn't say that in our cars the header is located in an optimal position and it is also a reason factory needs to place the engine higher than usual...

I have had an aftermarket header and op/fp on my car for years. Driving it even in the winter time in freezing weather splashing through puddles and it is fine.

quite fortunately this car has a giant try underneath to spare the header of water/ice/snow.
