Fujitsubo 4-2-1 manifold

There’s a video of Keiichi Tsuchiya’s new gt86 going around, and I noticed his Fujitsubo header is different than the typical Japanese EL headers.
This looks a lot like the JDL 4-2-1, thoughts? Maybe we’ll be seeing these long tube 4-2-1 designs from more of the legacy tuners?

JDL for reference:

Interesting his relatively street-ish brake pad choice and it wasn't mentioned, but it seemed from video that he has close to OE alignment, at least fronts seemed having less camber then rears.

Is that header available for purchase? I wonder if it is much cheaper than the JDL and ACE.

I have not been able to find it for purchase. In fact, I can only find the full header-back exhaust and it's not cheap:

It's not really new, it's part of the EPU.

He said that it is his private car and it seems he wants to be street legal. The specific exhaust can get an authorization in Japan. Fujitsubo mentions this on their product page. I suppose he did the same selections in other areas, like pads and suspension which has a certification.

It is; there's 1 unit in stock. It's a complete exhaust system, and costs more than the JDL and Ace, since it's a header, OP, FP, and catback.

Even if it was just the header, it would cost more than JDL and Ace.

Fujitsubo is the Japanese Akrapovic.

I find it amusing that even this japanese Akrapovic chose functional single exit instead of putting on four-banger dual oversized exit tips for decorative posing purposes, for which even stock exhaust in my eyes is guilty.

I think the only valid reason behind dual exit is more room for muffling the sound. Single will always be king

My Akra has two tips, but the car only has 1 turbo and 1 exhaust pipe...

This isn't true... when I tried to work with them to get their prototype header produced for export market, it would've had a MSRP of $1200-1500 and the standard dealer discounts (which is upwards of 40% if you are direct with Cusco USA)
